Reiki, (Ray-Key - This is important for the energy of Reiki comes from Source or as I choose to call HIM, GOD. HE is the ONE who does the healing for the healer is the client. I am the vessel, and as I have learned, ‘Let Your Hands Guide You, Let Your Hands Teach You’. The healing comes from within, and when one is ready to heal, healing can and will occur. I advise the client to bring a bottle of water with them prior to a session, for one will need to drink plenty of water after the session. Everyone has there own experience, no two people will have the same experience.
My Reiki journey began in March, 2004 becoming a certified First Degree Reiki Practioner, through Dr. Carol A. Wilson. In May, 2004 I became a certified Second Degree Reiki Practioner, February, 2005 became certified as an Advanced Reiki Practioner (ART), and I completed my journey with Carol when she attuned me to Reiki Master Teacher in November, 2005.
Should the client be anyone under the age of 18 a parent or guardian of legal age must be present.
Reiki healing begins by a client meeting with a certified Reiki Level One Practioner, or above and the practioner asking questions of the client and to building trust and rapport. The session can last 60 minutes to 90 minutes. There is a questionnaire that will need to be filled out before the session begins. All information given on this questionnaire will be kept strictly confidential.
The practioner hands are lightly placed upon the client using hand positions as taught by a Reiki Master Teacher. I let my hands guide me for the hands are the teacher and Source is the ‘HEALER’. The practioner NEVER touches inappropriately the breasts or the genitals.
Another important rule is that the practioner never leave the client unattended during or after the session is completed. After a session it is very important that the client drink plenty of water.
As a practioner of Reiki one must first be attuned to Reiki and be committed to using it on yourself, and others, family, friends, clients. The levels of Reiki are – First Degree, Second Degree, Third Degree or Advanced Reiki Training (ART), and Reiki Master Teacher, one must complete all levels before taking Karuna® Reiki, not every one will take every level, trust in your intuition and see where your journey takes you. As with all energy to become good at energy work, one must commit to doing the work everyday, and practice, practice, practice…..
Karuna® Reiki – I was attuned to Karuna® Reiki in April, 2007 by Dr. Larry Rosencrans. The process for a Karuna® Reiki session is the same as a Reiki session. The only difference is the practioner when attuned to Karuna® is more symbols to use in a session. As a practioner of Reiki and Karuna® Reiki this for me was the Angelic touch and the piece that I was being shown long before the attunement process. Karuna® Reiki is as I have experienced during a session is one of the most powerful healing modalities one can experience, all energy is powerful, this one as happened to me, I felt so much love and it felt like I had come out of my body floating on a cloud of unconditional love and being filled to overflowing, when the session was over, I wished it wasn’t for the experience was that powerful.
As a healer working in this field and with any healing energy or modality of healing I stress to make clear the following statement:We as healers are the messengers, and WE are not a replacement for medical professionals for they are the only ones who can diagnose a condition.
